- High early strength: ideal for quick turn-around of subsequent works
- Controlled expansion ensures rigid bond between base plate & concrete foundation
- Versatile: can be prepared to be of flowable or pumpable consistency
- Chloride free & non-corrosive
- Very high ultimate compressive strength
Application Instructions:
Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be hard, sound and free of dust, dirt and other loose material. The underside of the base plate should be free of rust, oil, grease or other contaminants that could hinder the bond. The minimum gap width of 25mm should be maintained between the base plate and the foundation. Ensure soaking of the prepared surface with clean water for a minimum of 24 hours before starting of the grouting operation. Immediately prior to grouting remove all standing water using high powered blower taking care to blow out water from the bolt holes and pockets
Formwork
Formwork fitted around the base plate should be rigid and watertight to prevent grout loss. The top of the formwork should be a minimum 25mm above the bottom level of the base plate. On the pouring side (which should be the shortest distance along the base plate), the formwork should be minimum 150mm high to allow a head of grout to build up. The grout head must be achieved at all times during the grouting operation to eliminate air pockets.Ensure continuous grouting operation without stoppage.
Generally, the gap width between the base plate and the formwork is maintained at 100-150mm on the pouring side and 50mm on the opposite side. Whenever possible, gap between the base plate and formwork should be avoided at the shoulders as unrestrained grouts have a tendency to crack.
Mixing
Add 90% of the pre-measured mixing water in a clean container and then slowly add B 31. Mix thoroughly for 3 minutes using a heavy duty slow speed drill (400-600 rpm). Then add the remaining 10% water and continue mixing for another 2 minutes. This will ensure a smooth even consistency of the grout. Place the grout immediately after mixing
Placing of grout
Ensure that sufficient grout mix is prepared and ready for the work. The bolt pockets must be first grouted before grouting between the base plate and substrate. Continuous grout flow is essential to ensure no air pockets are formed. Ensure that the grout reaches the other end of the formwork and overflows to release any trapped air.
Curing
On completion of the grouting operation, exposed areas should be thoroughly cured either with wet hessian or with C 20 curing compound.
Precautions:
Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with the skin. Care should be taken to avoid inhalation or ingestion of dust and prevent contact with the eyes. In case of contact with eyes, flush with ample amount of clean water and seek medical advice if necessary
Disposal/Spillage
Spillage of the product should be absorbed onto sand or other inert materials and transferred to a suitable disposable vessel. Disposal of such spillage or empty packaging should be in accordance with local waste disposal authority regulations.

- Corrosion resistant
- Can be placed wet and damp condition
Application Instructions:
Hole preparation:
Drill the correct size of hole in the concrete base and clean it thoroughly. Optimum performance can be achieved by rough sided dust free holes. Cast hole should preferably be inverse dovetail configuration for better anchorage.
Bar preparation:
Bar should be free from oil and grease, and all flaky rust should be removed.
Mixing:
Both Part A and Part B components should be thoroughly stirred before being mixed together. The entire contents of the Part A should be poured in a mixing vessel and add Part B. Mix thoroughly using a mechanical mixer to achieve a smooth homogenous mix. Part mixing should be avoided
Placing of Grout:
The mixed grout should be poured into the prepared hole well within the gel time of the grout. Anchor bolt/ reinforcement rod should be pressed into the hole to the required depth immediately after the grout is poured. Slight twisting action is recommended for full contact of grout and maximum bond. The bar should be left undisturbed in the required position until the resin is set completely.
Cleaning:
EP 310 can be removed from tools and equipment by using RTC 100 immediately after use. Any hardened material will need to be removed mechanically
Precautions:
During mixing and application the following precautions should be observed: Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid contact of the material with the eyes, nasal passages, mouth and unprotected skin. Avoid contact with the hands by wearing protective gloves and by using, if necessary, a suitable barrier cream. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice and after contact with the skin wash immediately with plenty of soap and water. Prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided, especially where the user has an allergic reaction to resin-based materials. Always wear gloves and eye/face protection as necessary. Observe personal hygiene, particularly washing the hands after work has been completed or at any interruption whilst work is in progress. Care should be taken when removing gloves to avoid contaminating the insides. In case of accidents seek medical advice.
Disposal/Spillage:
Spillage of any of the product components should be absorbed onto sand or other inert materials and transferred to a suitable disposable vessel. Disposal of such spillage or empty packaging should be in accordance with local waste disposal authority regulations

Description
- FEATHER FINISH is a blend of cement, fillers, and special additives to produce a rapid drying patching and smoothing compound designed for very thin smoothing applications (typically 1 mm thick or less, but may be used up to 3 mm thick in one application). The RAPIDRY formula enables floor coverings to be installed after as little as 15 minutes.
- FEATHER FINISH provides an excellent bond to concrete, plywood, cement/sand screeds, existing sub-floor smoothing compounds and even existing ceramic tiles without the use of primers.
- Floor coverings can be installed after as little as 15 minutes
• True feather edge allows for greater coverage
• Exceptional bond to plywood, concrete, smoothing compounds, terrazzo and ceramic tiles without the need to prime
• Easy to mix and apply, just add water
• Can be applied at a minimal thickness if a thin smooth surface is required
- The cement/sand screed, plywood or ceramic tiled sub-floors must be dry, sound and clean, free of dust, grease and other barriers that might impair adhesion to the base.
- FEATHER FINISH is mixed with clean water (2 parts by volume of powder to 1 part by volume of water) to achieve an easily trowelled, non-flowing slump free consistency.
- Apply the mixed FEATHER FINISH with a steel trowel to achieve the required levels. A skim coat may be sufficiently hard enough after 15 minutes but obviously will depend on the absorbency of the sub-floor and site temperature. Thicker applications will require additional drying time. Provided the FEATHER FINISH layer has hardened sufficiently and the adhesive trowel does not damage the mortar surface, the floor covering may be installed, even if the surface appears to be damp.
- When applying FEATHER FINISH to wooden floors the maximum total depth is 3mm.
- For thicknesses above 3 mm (not exceeding 12 mm) it is recommended to build up in thin applications with a re applying time interval of 30 mins or refer A 45 alternatively.
- Select a flooring adhesive that is compatible with the subfloor beneath the FEATHER FINISH, otherwise a 3mm smoothing layer will be necessary. Apply at temperatures above 5°C.
- FEATHER FINISH can be removed from tools and equipment by washing in clean water immediately after use. Any hardened material will need to be removed mechanically
- FEATHER FINISH is considered non-hazardous in normal usage. The presence of cement in the product gives an alkaline mortar which may cause some local irritation if prolonged contact with the skin takes place. Care should be taken to avoid inhalation or ingestion of dust and prevent contact with the eyes.
